I’m Jen, and I fell in love with playing piano back in the ‘80s, and later with teaching in the ‘90s. There is no better feeling for me than helping someone learn and discover what they’re capable of, and inspiring their creativity.
Over the years I’ve taken my teaching to other areas, but music and piano have remained a huge part of my life. This is largely thanks to my own piano teacher, Margaret Turnbull of Ovingham, who nurtured a lifelong musician, and that is my aim for my students. Playing and creating music has so many benefits for us all. It can be, and should be, for everyone.
You can find out more about my teaching approach here.
